Pinecrest Walking/Fitness Trail:
The Walking trail was a combined project with the Change the Future Grant and PATCH. We collaborated with local businesses to get input and expertise to make the project successful and appropriate for all ages and a variety of activities. Greg Hall from Hall's Excavating and LD Epling from Farmers Friend provided services and oversight to make the 1/3 of a mile gravel trail a reality and a huge success! The trail is located behind the State DOH garage on Rt. 119 just outside of town.

Pinecrest 3d Archery Range:
The 40 target 3d archery range came to fruition through the efforts of our PATCH Program and local Businessman Gary Alvis from Gary's Sporting and Pawn whom spearheaded the project. With the help of local archers Bub Greathouse, Justin Saunders, Austin O'Brien, Sheryl McCutcheon, and Randy O'Brien our archery range has a wonderful mix of woods, fields, and elevation change to challenge youth, beginners, intermediates, and pro shooters. The range has 4 pegs to shoot from (children (3-9 yrs.) youth/women, bow hunter, and outlaw/pro) for a good variety of skill levels. all shooters are welcome and the range is open to everyone the entire year. We ask for a $5 donation per shooter with all proceeds benefiting our range and youth archery program.
